Roster view settings
Overview
This section provides detailed instructions on how to manage your roster view settings in the RASP Admin app. You will learn how to change view settings, save view templates, update existing templates, and delete them when necessary.
View settings and what they do
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Grouping | Groups the shifts by the selected type |
| Week Start | Changes the start date of the week. Applies to weekly timeline views. |
| Card Colour | Changes the shift attribute used for colouring shifts. Options: Shift, Shift Type, Location |
| Time Intervals | Switch to enable or disable times on the timeline. When disabled, only dates are shown. Does not apply to monthly or agenda views. |
| Interval (mins) | Adjusts the granularity of the Time Intervals displayed. 1440 (24hrs) can be used to make the roster shifts display on the same row where possible without grouping by time. |

Add a new Saved View
To save your current view settings as a template for future use, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the roster you want to save a custom view for.

2. Adjust your view settings to your preference using the available options such as Grouping, Week Start, Card Colour, etc.

3. Click on the three-dot icon in the settings options area.

4. Click "Save As"

5. Name your view and click "Save"

6. The new list has been added to the list of "Saved Views".

Updating a View Template
To update an existing view template with new settings or adjustments, proceed as follows:
1. Navigate the roster and select the "Saved View" you want to update.

2. Update the view settings to suit your preferences.

3. Click the three-dot-icon in the settings area.

4. Click "Save Changes"

Deleting a View Template
If you need to delete a view template that is no longer required, here are the steps:
1. Navigate to the roster and select the saved view you want to delete.

2. Click the three-dot-icon in the settings area.

3. Click "Delete"

4. Click "Delete" on the confirmation.
